Well did anyone honestly believe all that we're in it together nonsense? What does that even mean? In what together? How can someone with a salary of 50K a year be "in it" with someone on a salary of 15K? It's meaningless spin designed only to keep the poorer feeling good about themselves without giving them any actual real help.
UK Citizens are stupid. There I said it. Sorry if I cause offence. In fact, I'll go even further. The citizens of the UK are a bunch of morons. Why? Because they are the only electorate in the entire whole of Europe that allows their Government to walk all over them.
People will gladly march n Whitehall to get 20p off a sausage roll but in the important issues that really make a difference they'd rather sit at home, eat take away fish and chips, and watch Coronation Street.
Why are we paying over 5 times more fuel duty than the rest of Europe? Why are we squandering billions in foreign aid before making sure our own are taken care of? Why are we constantly bailing out a currency we aren't even part of? Why are happily accepting every Tom Dick and Harry into the country when we have a population crisis, shortage of homes, crippled NHS and an over burdened welfare state? Why are we pumping millions into a War on Terror anyone with a modicum of sense knows we can never win? Why are financing new rail projects to Birmingham when we already have a railway line in place? Why are building Olympic stadiums that are going to be sold off at a loss after the Games? Why are we waving Union Jacks and singing God Save The Queen like blithering idiots when we're then going back home and struggling to afford a loaf of bread? Seriously...excuse my language...are you people just fucking THICK?
In every other country we see people demanding change. Not the Brits however, Oh no. The Brits like to maintain their stiff upper lip. To maintain their dignity. And besides, we can't do anything now because X Factor is on and I have a curry on the way.
Change never happens because those in power suddenly develop a crisis of conscience. Change happens because of revolution. Revolution happens because the people get up off their asses and do something about their situation.
This economic climate is a result of the people we are told to trust with our money making a royal pigs ear of looking after it. Have we learnt from our mistakes? Have the people demanded an entire reformation of the banking system? Like hell they have. The people have given these same bankers even more of our money.
So anyone that believe pre election crap of being in it together really deserves everything they don't get.[b]
