In the wake of the recent troubles in Syria the Syrian embassy in London was stormed by protestors unhappy at events.

Begs the question...why?

What exactly are these protestors hoping to achieve by causing disruption in another country? Do they think the Syrian Government are going to see the images on the news and think, Gosh, those lot seem a bit miffed. Maybe we ought to stop what we're doing?

Or are they hoping for a spot of good old fashioned Western shock and awe intervention so that six months down the line they can bomb King's Cross in protest at "western imperialistic occupation"?

Someone should have a word in their ear. Britain isn't interested in what happens in Syria. You don't have any oil, you see.
