Business can be fined Aus $1.1 million for blaming carbon tax for price rises

Imagine you are watching the news and a report comes on TV about a country where to criticise a policy of the government results in a crippling fine that would finish your business, a country where to mention a law in anything but a positive light would cause the full force of the state apparatus to descend upon you.

North Korea maybe? Syria or Iran?

The answer is Australia where after years of Green madness Julia Gillard’s Labor government with the support of the Australian Green party have forced through a deeply unpopular and unwanted carbon tax, just as the IPCC have come out and said, er sorry guys but we are not really sure that CO2 has any impact on global temperatures anymore.

Australian Green Socialists have sought to control the media, in July the Green party leader Christine Milne demanded political censorship and punishment for dissent for the media to the enthusiastic applause from an audience of party faithful.

Now the Gillard/Milne Animal Farm dream of a government controlled state has taken a step closer:

THE whitewash begins. Now that the carbon tax has passed through federal parliament, the government’s clean-up brigade is getting into the swing by trying to erase any dissent against the jobs-destroying legislation.

On cue comes the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission, which this week issued warnings to businesses that they will face whopping fines of up to $1.1m if they blame the carbon tax for price rises.

It says it has been “directed by the Australian government to undertake a compliance and enforcement role in relation to claims made about the impact of a carbon price.”

Businesses are not even allowed to throw special carbon tax sales promotions before the tax arrives on July 1.

“Beat the Carbon Tax – Buy Now” or “Buy now before the carbon tax bites” are sales pitches that are verboten. Or at least, as the ACCC puts it, “you should be very cautious about making these types of claims”.

There will be 23 carbon cops roaming the streets doing snap audits of businesses that “choose to link your price increases to a carbon price”.

Instead, the ACCC suggests you tell customers you’ve raised prices because “the overall cost of running (your) business has increased”.

The USSR used to “suggest” that did you as you were told, the true state of a country’s democracy and thus the personal freedom of it’s citizens can be judged when a government department issues the advertising copy for businesses to use.

It’s all very Orwellian: the tax whose name cannot be spoken. We are already paying for the climate-change hysteria that has gripped Australia for a decade. Replacing even a portion of our cheap, coal-fired power with renewable energy is hellishly expensive. It also requires costly adaptation of existing infrastructure.

That’s a big reason why electricity prices have hit the roof already. So when we accelerate the process with the carbon tax, the pain will escalate. That’s the whole point of carbon pricing. A record number of households have had their electricity disconnected because they can’t pay their power bills.

Household energy costs are estimated to have risen 17 per cent since July, with the result that the ranks of the energy poor are swelling.

Lets see Green taxes, renewables and a sudden and massive increase in energy poverty, it’s starting to sound very familiar and when endorsed by Barack Hussein Obama you just know the whole idea is just plain wrong.

Since he’s dropped in for 26 hours, US President Barack Obama could explain to his new best friend Julia Gillard why he decided not to impose a carbon tax on his ailing economy. Or why Canada has prudently ruled out a carbon scheme, and New Zealand is scaling its back and China and India continue to sit on their hands. Durban will be fun.

Durban will indeed be fun, much the same as watching an old comedy horror movie where the same actors will recite the same old lines about imminent global environmental Armageddon while they preach solely to the converted and watch their whole scam slide down the tubes, sucked in by the vortex of the sinking Kyoto Protocol.

In a government document released in September 2010 by the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade titled “Australia: Candidate for the United Nations Security Council 2013-14” there is a message from Julia Gillard Prime Minister of Australia, this is the 3rd paragraph of that message:

“The importance of the Security Council to the maintenance of international peace and security is as great now as it ever has been. Not since the founding of the United Nations have we faced such uncertain times, when the contours of a new world order are emerging but not yet apparent.

The Council needs members who are not only willing to support it with words, but also through deeds…..”

This in an admission by our own Prime Minister that there is “New World Order” being pushed by the United Nations. This “emerging New World Order” already has an agreement in place with Australia (and other nations) to take about 10% of our carbon taxes see here. Furthermore Senator Bob Brown has openly called for ‘World Government” and Australia to be home to its “World Parliament” see here. It is important to remember that the United Nations is a dictatorial body that has laws and collects taxes, but “we the people” get no vote.

It appears that this “emerging New World Order” that Julia Gillard speaks of will be a United Nations lead, unelected, carbon taxing, socialist, anti-human, anti-city, police state tyranny and I am determined to expose and resist it.

Australia: University produces handbook for Muslim students only, lists pro-jihad mosques






Muslim students are more
equal than other students at Australia's Monash University. And what's
the big deal about a listing of "radical" mosques? What could possibly
go wrong in our brave, new multicultural world?

"Muslim handbook is divisive," by Miranda Devine for the Herald Sun, November 24 (thanks to Kenneth):

MONASH University prides itself on its "multicultural
learning environment" and yet it produces a handbook for one certain
class of students, and not for others.

Salaam Monash is the title of the glossy 50-page "handbook for Muslim students".

"At Monash we understand that Muslim students have specific social,
religious and cultural needs," writes Professor Stephanie Fahey, deputy
vice-chancellor, in a foreword to the handbook.

The booklet lists Islamic banking and financial institutions, Muslim
publications, women's groups and schools. It also lists Muslim medical
and dental practitioners, which splits up doctors into male and female groups.

There is also a halal food guide and a list of halal grocers and butchers.

Much of the information seems useful and, having had a young Muslim
house guest recently, I know just how tricky it can be to find halal
food.

Really? I'm in Australia now and in walking around Melbourne, I saw an abundance of shops offering it.

But there is no similar handbook for other religious
or ethnic groups, not for Buddhists, Taoists, Germans, Greeks, Sikhs,
Mormons or vegans.

Why encourage one group of people to maintain an identity separate from other Australians?

Most unwise, however, is that the handbook lists without comment some of Australia's most radical prayer halls.

Among them is cleric Sheikh Mohammed Omran's Islamic Call Society in
Brunswick, where young Muslim men have been radicalised. A number of men
arrested in Operation Pendennis, over a foiled 2005 Melbourne terror
plot, had frequented the mosque, according to a New York Police
Department study, which identified it as an "extremist incubator".

Similarly, the handbook points students in the direction of Coburg's
ISNA mosque, associated with preacher Abu Hamza, who was videotaped
telling men they could "beat their wives to shape them up" but only as a
last resort. In the lecture entitled "The Keys to a Successful Marriage", he said: "You smack them, you beat them. You are not allowed to bruise them."...

"Monash University should not be endorsing (an) ideology
which prescribes that Muslims must not eat our food, wear our clothes,
share our services or even use our 'infidel' money," said four
insiders who wrote to me. "International students would be better served
with a handbook explaining Australian culture and values."

Monash is not alone. La Trobe has its own Muslim student guide and last year opened a $927,000 prayer room.

In 2006 RMIT produced a Muslim handbook "In the name of Allah
the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful". Two years later 1000 Muslim
students protested against sharing new prayer rooms with Christians and
Jews....

Starting July 1 of 2012, Australian parents will be stripped of family tax benefits if their child is not fully immunized.

Once the immunization alterations take effect next year,families who refuse vaccinations will also be refusing up to $2,100 per child in benefits.

It seems that this is just one attempt by the Australian government to force vaccinations on children before potentially making it a federal law.
Forced Vaccinations Should be Illegal

Vaccinations are surrounded with quite a bit of negative history. The flu vaccine alone has been tied to convulsions, Guillain-Barre syndrome, and a number of other negative health effects. Gardasil is also a heavy hitter when it comes to serious health problems, with the vaccine leading to many deaths and thousands of hospitalizations. With that being said, how can a government penalize your for not subjecting yourself to these potential dangers?

This tactic executed by the government is simply a way to push vaccines on the population without making full immunization mandatory by law. Being told you must be fully immunized to receive a benefit is not so different from being told you won’t receive any benefits if you have high cholesterol and don’t take Lipitor. The withholding of benefits tactic is pushed by the idea that not only will millions of kids be protected, but a massive amount of money will be saved in healthcare costs. So why not make pharmaceutical drugs mandatory to keep people “healthy”? The truth is the last thing that Australia and most other nations need is more government regulation.

What is Full Immunization?

You may be wondering what full immunization even is, especially if you are planning to have a child. Here is a schedule provided by the Australian government which shows the vaccination requirements for attaining the Family Tax Benefit Part A Supplement. In order for parents and families to experience various childcare benefits, this schedule should be followed – as far as the government is concerned.

According to the schedule, 5-7 vaccines should be administered at the 2, 4, 6, and 12 month mark as well as at 4 years. One vaccine which is administered almost every immunization period is the hepatitis B vaccine. Unfortunately this vaccine has been tied to infant death, multiple sclerosis, and autoimmune disorders.

It is also important to note that the Cochrane Database Review, the gold standard within the evidence-based medical model for determining the effectiveness of common medical interventions, does not lend clear scientific support to the theory that flu vaccines are safe or effective.

Shockingly, these authoritative reviews reveal that there is actually a severe lack of evidencedemonstrating the effectiveness of influenza vaccines in children under 2, healthy adults, the elderly, and healthcare workers who care for the elderly.

Some other changes should be known regarding future vaccine immunization changes. Starting July of next year, the immunization check will be changed from two and five years of age to one year of age. In addition, children will be required to be vaccinated against meningococcal C, pneumococcal, and chicken pox, all for the first time starting in July of 2013.

Taking a Stand

This government incentive to get vaccinated is only one small move in the game. It is only until enough people stand up and refuse injection for themselves and their children when the next move will be made. If injection becomes federal law, we will undoubtedly see great opposition. Just as no pharmaceutical drugs should be mandatory for the “health and safety” of the population, no vaccinations should be mandatory either. Everyone should always possess the freedom of choice.
